Reminder: If you are taking a workshop that requires a sewing machine, be sure you know how to operate it and that it is in working order . We do not teach sewing.

Cobblestone Birdhouse

Great for the garden or for indoors.

No experience required.  All materials and a light lunch provided. Please wear work clothes as this can get messy

Creating a Woodland Elf

All skill levels welcome

$290.00 + kit fee $40.00

Sculpting kit includes clay, glass eyes and basic sculpting tools,  foil, wire, doll hair, doll skin, batting and a base

Day One: Learn to sculpt a character head from polymer clay. Foolproof techniques will be taught to place features while keeping head to scale. Adding character, and adding expression will be covered. Head will be cured, and we will cover painting and hair application.

Day Two:. Learn to sculpt hands and feet and make a wire armiture. Assembly will also be taught.

Day Three: Dressing your elf will be covered as well as adding finishing touches to your character and using a base.

students are required to bring: a basic sewing kit such as pins needles thread, scissors, marking tool, fabrictac glue and assorted recycle fabric or clothes to be used in the costuming. A more specific list will be provided to students at time of registration.

No experience required.
